Configuring Global Webform Settings

Begin the configuration at Administration, Site Configuration, Webform (admin/settings/webform), as shown in Figure 13.12.

The first section of the configuration settings lets you choose which components are available to your webforms. If you disable a component here, you will not be able to add it to the new webforms that you create. The default setting is to enable all the components.

The default email values, shown in Figure 13.13, can save time when you create webforms. If you normally use the same email values for a number of forms (perhaps even all of them), enter those values here and skip the individual webform data entry fields.

Finally, the advanced settings shown in Figure 13.14 let you configure defaults that apply to all webforms unless they are changed. Usually, the settings that are installed with the Webform module can be used without changes.
